Loan regulations
The main task of the library is to serve the Danish Institute of Human Rights, why the department's own staff have priority over the materials, for example upon reservation.
The health insurance card (sygesikringsbevis) functions as a loaner’s card. Loaners are registered with a CPR-number (social security number), name, address, phone number and email address.
The period of loan is usually one month. You must have a maximum of 15 books in lending at a time. You must not have more than 10 reservations registered.
Loans can be renewed in the library or via the library's website. A loan can be renewed three times. Then the material must be delivered before it can be borrowed again.
If the period of loan is exceeded, you will receive a letter of notice. If due loans are not renewed or handed in after this, a second notice will be printed, Monday 8 days after the first notice.
After that, loans can no longer be renewed via the website. The material must then be handed over, after which it can be borrowed again.
