International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights list of issues 2012

The selection of issues included in this report is based on recommendations to the government of Denmark from various international bodies such as UN treaty bodies, UN Special procedures, The Universal Periodic Review of Denmark. Furthermore the selection of issues is based on relevant human rights debates in Denmark, previous recommendations given by the Danish Institute for Human Rights or civil society through legal briefs, thematic reports etc.

This report consists of two main sections. The first section is focused on structural challenges in Denmark concerning human rights protection. The second section concerns material issues which are sorted according to the relevant articles in the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICSECR).
